Thanks to all those participants who entered last year's event. The weather was kind to us and with yet another huge field, it all helped to make the event a wonderful family day out.

2010 Event - 28th February

Yes it's that time of year again. Get your family and friends together for a fun bike ride in a safe environment. You can choose to ride either 6kms. 11kms or 16kms. Register on line for free and receive an email confirmation of your entry. Your $2 Gold coin, per person, will be given to Sunshine Street at the Hospital. Have someone sponsor your ride and raise funds for your school and don't forget to nominate a school of your choice as the school with the most nominations will be given a Lumix 12.1 MP 25mml HD Digital Camera. The school entries are pro rated on a % of the school roll so it doesn't matter how big or small your school is, everyone has a chance.

Register online or post your entry to P O Box 1030. Confirmation of your entry will be sent via email. You need to pick up your ride number & pay your $2 Gold coin per person, from Mitchells Cycles on Wednesday 24th February (9am-6pm) We will accept late entries on the day from 7.30am to 8.30am.

Fitzroy Surf life Saving Club will run IRB rides through to prize giving and beyond. The Harvey Norman Big Dig starts at 10.30am and the Taranaki Skydivers will be arriving at 11.00am, prize giving will follow at 11.30am. Sausages and drinks available to purchase.

Great prizes are on offer so get the family on their bikes and ready for a great morning's activity.

Entry forms will be available from Mitchells Cycles, Raceway Cycles, Classic Hits, Schools and the New Plymouth District Council or can be downloaded on the rightside of your screen.
